    Yes, I’m still here.

Is it possible to still have jet lag after a week?? Well, it’s already “tomorrow” (Sunday) here and we’re leaving at the crack of dawn for the wilds of western Ireland, otherwise known as Connemara, County Galway.  It’s supposed to be magnificent, rugged and breathtaking country and I cannot WAIT.  I’m told that there will be no Internet service so I’m saying farewell now.

THIS is where we’ll be staying…

    Ballynahinch Castle, Co. Galway

    Yeah… as I said, I can’t wait.

I’m looking forward to being off grid for a couple days.  Let’s just say I’m still recovering from new years’.  I’ll check in again next week of course.  Hopefully with even more intel for you on the people, sights and sounds of Ireland.  I’m predicting that I’m going to fall in love.  For now, I’ll leave you with highlights from this past week (ranked and pictured in order of the fairly amazing to the unbelievably stupendous)…

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, adapted by Alan Stanford (The Gate Theatre)

    James Joyce (The Writer's Museum)

The Way Back (Peter Weir) (The Irish Film Institute)
